Steve Kirby, Executive Officer

Steve has a degree in business administration from the University of Albuquerque, and worked for Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) for almost 33 years.  After retiring from PNM in July 2008, Steve wanted a job where he could use his experience to serve others who needed help.  In March of 2009, he became the General Manager of The Storehouse, Inc. of Greater Albuquerque, where he led one of the largest food pantries in America.  He worked at The Storehouse through July 2011, until moving to Yankton.

Al Schumacher, Treasurer

As one of the original charter members, Al was instrumental in the establishment of Lewis & Clark Home Builders Association in our area.  At inception he served as the Secretary-Treasurer for the association, he has served on the Board of Directors and has been involved with the Home Show since it began in 2006.  Al's hard work and dedication earned him the Associate Member of the year for 2009.

Lee Rettig, Director

Lee has earned three National Association of Home Builders designations.  As owner of 4 Life Homes, he is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS), a Certified Green Professional Builder (CGP) and is a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP).  Lee is also a member of the NAHB's 50+ Housing Council.

2012 State Representatives

Tim Frohreich, Gerald Rupiper, Dave Naslund and Tim Salvatori currently serve as our 2012 State Representatives, while Lee Rettig, Tom Larrington and Steve Bogatz are their Alternates.  Most Bio's are located above.  Two other Representative's Bio are located below.

Gerald Rupiper, State Rep

As one of the original charter members Gerald has served on the Board of Directors since 2001, served as the Association's president in 2011, held the Treasurer's position for 3 years and was one of the State Representatives in 2010.  Gerald has also been instrumental in originating such things as the Scholarship Program, the Annual Membership Social and Summer Golf Tournament.  He is proud to have been named Associate Member of the year in 2008.
